Shipping
Model Aviation ships to most destinations, however if you live in a country not defined in our freight charge calculator, please contact us on sales@modelaviation.com.au for a shipping quote.
Due to the size and weight of many of our products, they will be dispatched to you straight from the Manufacturer's warehouse. When this is the case, please expect 5 - 7 working days for delivery. Under these circumstances, you will be e-mailed a tracking number for your shipment to allow you to track its location.
If the goods are insured and have been damaged or broken in transit then you must refuse to accept the order and notify us immediately. We do not cover freight expenses on warranty claims. You will bear the risk of loss or damage to the goods, unless we have agreed to insure the parcel, in which case we are liable to pay you only up to the limit of the agreed insurance. You will always bear all risk of loss or damage arising in connection with the goods. We will not be liable for any delay, loss or damage arising from the supply of or failure to supply service ( including deterioration, mis-delivery or failure to deliver goods), for any reason whatsoever including breach of contract and negligence. We and any agents and subcontractors used by us have the benefit of these exclusions and limitations of liability even if any loss or damage arises for any reason whatsoever. Whilst our couriers will make every endeavor to deliver your parcel, there may be instances where a collection card will be left. Should this occur, the onus will be on the customer to arrange collection or redelivery with the courier. Unfortunately we are unable to accept redelivery charges.
Refund Policy
Refunds for incorrectly ordered products will remain the solely discretion of Model Aviation.
Defective items
If the item you wish to return is inoperable, but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective. You can get replacement for the same item by reporting defective item(s) by email within 24 hours after receiving your order. Instructions on how to handle this type of return will vary since some manufacturers insist on handling defects directly. Model Aviation reserves the right to either refund, replace or repair any defective items, depending on Manufacturer's instructions.
Defective merchandise may be returned to us as long as it is in new and unused condition. Used, defective merchandise can also be returned to us for manufacturer warranty repairs where applicable. If you can determine that a product is defective before using it, we may be able to accept it back for exchange or refund; however, we suggest that you contact us prior to taking any action.
