YD-A Engines - Australian Made

Limited Time Only
Specifically designed and manufactured for RC Modelling by West Australian Modellers.
Distributed on East Coast of Australia by Model Aviation.
YD-A Engines were born out of a requirement for a decent engine that produced excellent power, used the best quality materials and are made to our Quality Control Expectations. They are designed and manufactured from the ground up by experienced RC Flyers in Western Australia.
All this at an affordable price. We tried some other companies but they always seemed to let us down on Materials, Quality or Power. We decided the only thing to do was to set up our own factory and get producing. These engines are the result of that. During the design and testing process, we listened to what the customers wanted in an engine - we have incorporated as much as possible into the finished result.
These engines are very powerful, Use Industry standard RCExcel ignitions and have similar physical external dimensions as the more popular engines in the class (so they fit most airframes easily).
Cooling area is exceptional, mounting is compact and fuel burn is miserly. So if you want the best power at the best price - this is the engine for you
